About Our Testing

Brittney, Inc. had the insight to acquire both the equipment and expertise to deal with OSHA and hearing compliance. In fact we are the only consulting service in this four state area that has this service in house. Other services such as this are available from vendors whose fees are almost double to triple our fees for testing at their office. Our audiometric testing is performed in your plant or facility, at your convenience, insuring the least disruption to your work schedule. Each hearing test takes about 10 minutes or less and costs just $20 per employee. There are no maintenance fees, no contracts, or any other hidden costs. We maintain a database and follow annual scheduling to insure your compliance with OSHA standards on annual testing.

This department is headed by a Paramedic and CAOHC member. Jerry Raines is an Occupational Hearing Conservationist who personally administers the audiometric hearing tests. First your Brittney consultant will establish the need by using a sound level meter to identify high noise areas. Then they will follow-up using noise dosimeters attached to a select number of workers. Only then is audiometric testing initiated. Your Brittney consultant will provide all necessary training and implement a full Hearing Conservation Program. The sound level survey takes about one hour while the dosimeters are attached to the employee for eight hours.

 

This program is administered under the supervision of a licensed Audiologist to insure full compliance with current regulations.
